FK Program

Timeless modernity: at the end of the sixties, the FK shell chair advanced to become a symbol of modern design. Today it represents classically relevant design throughout the world. As a chair and a lounge chair, its defined contours make the FK an icon of minimalism.

Since the 1960s, the FK family has found a place in high-quality, stylish settings - alone, in a group, or as an addition to sofa and lounge groups. Fine lines, clear contours - every point of the FK is defined. A graphic silhouette presents volume and lightness on a three-pointed crossed base.

The FK represented an evolution of modernism. The shell chair was emblematic of a new design language - in 1969 it was the first-ever recipient of the German Prize for Good Form.

The original FK design was presented to a wide audience for the first time at the Cologne Furniture Fair in 1967. The clearly thought-through shape of the chair and its unmistakable independence amazed the public. It immediately provoked a great deal of fascination, and to this day the FK fits into a wide variety of different interiors.
