Kupanda Carpet.

Design: Helmut Scheufele.

Kupanda – Swahili for plant – reminds us of a wise saying of the Mamprusi people: "Small trees always grow in the shade of a large tree." Tropical landscapes, dense jungle, and lush worlds of water and plants, transformed into modern carpet art.

Low-pile carpet made from 55% wool, 35% silk and 10% nettle.
