The modern landmark made of glass, steel and concrete corresponds to the traditional architecture.
The multi-functional building, built in 2006, at the company’s HQ in Herrenberg shows the vitality of the Walter K. brand. The architecture tells the story of high-tech and craftsmanship, reveals an inspiring interior and provides an insight into the corporate culture. On the established site, the new modern landmark corresponds to the traditional industrial architecture.
In Mötzingen, ten kilometres from Herrenberg, there is a further production location. The first part of the production site was finished in 2001. The production hall was awarded the price of "Exemplary Construction within the district Böblingen 1996-2003" by the architectural association of Baden- Württemberg.
The production site in Mötzingen, southern Germany, was extended. The new multi-functional building for assembly, production and logistics extends the existing production plant for pre-upholstery. The master plan of architect Hansulrich Benz for this second phase of construction combines the requirements of future-proof modern production and logistics with contemporary, sustainable architecture.
